Biology lab today! We looked at osmosis and diffusion. My partner and I got stuck with the pizza-stone hot plate today so our water took forever to boil, so this picture is mostly commemorating that grand event. We then tested for glucose and starch; while waiting for the water to boil we also watched what sodium chloride does to plant cells. I would have taken a picture of that because it was waaaaayyyyy cooler, but I wasn’t feeling quite brave enough to see if the camera would work taking a picture of what you can see in a microscope. (I do not like disappointment.)
All that being said, there’s a reason why you get really thirsty after eating a ton of pizza or sushi. Especially sushi pizza.
